Snooker fans are looking forward to the Shanghai Masters event that will feature some major stars. This year’s tournament promises to be highly competitive and entertaining. In recent years the event changed its status and started to attract more snooker fans and celebrity sportsmen.

This year it will be the non-ranking invitation competition again. Snooker fans expect to see tremendous and spectacular clashes of English player Barry Hawkins, Chinese young star Yan Bingtao, last year’s champion Ronnie O’Sullivan, aging star John Higgins, and many others.

The draw for Shanghai Masters 2019 took place early August and the event itself will start September 9. It attracted so many prominent figures that it will be almost impossible to decide whom to bet on at

27-years-old professional player Kyren Wilson also heads there and is full of energy to compete. The English snooker player doesn’t deny that the Shanghai Masters also offers much money, which is pretty tempting. Last year his triumphal march was stopped in semi-finals when he played against Ronnie O’Sullivan. The possibility to take revenge on the legendary rival motivates Wilson even more than anything else. He told the press he changed his mindset and now considers the tournament to be a nice possibility to step up, achieve a new level and hone his skills.
